Ccrow – Central certificates registry for on- & offshore workers

Trained technicians and other employees are an asset for any company

Ccrow, is an abbreviation for Central certificates registry for on- & offshore workers, was established in 2017 by a former work vessel coordinator for offshore wind farms, to assist project managements and contractors in registering their own personnel or that of third parties.

It came to light that a great deal of time loss occurred, when contractors and project management had to check and register personal documents (e.g. ID card, passport or medical certificate) but also training certificates (e.g. GWO, STCW, IRATA, etc.).
Reading, interpreting, checking these documents for validity is not always evident. It is also not the core business of maritime personnel, technicians and others to keep an eye on, and monitor all of these documents.

The people themselves often do not have enough time to check and register all these documents.
Tasks for the project are added to their workload.
How long has it been since you have checked the validity of your own passport, ID card or medical certificate?

Here is where Ccrow makes the difference, by checking all the submitted documents, registering them, and delivering a complete overview of these documents to the person concerned, including the nature of the document, the issue and expiration dates, document number, etc.

This allows the person to register quickly and efficiently for projects, without having to submit all the original documents, but where the valid documents are available digitally.
If a document or certificate is about to expire, Ccrow informs that person in good time, after which they have enough time to renew the document, or to follow the necessary training(s).

We are fully aware that the employers manage the documents of their employees, but often they are not up to date, or people have more certificates than the employer knows. Which often causes know-how loss.

We believe that it is important for everyone, to be able to get to work as quickly as possible and to lose as little time as possible as a result of purely administrative tasks, which, if not followed up sufficiently, can have serious financial consequences. The follow-up of training certificates and other documents need to be done, to remain of high-quality value.
